Lubowa Ssebina Foundation sponsored student graduates at Makerere University: Lubowa Ssebina Foundation under the Department of Education, Sports and Youth Affairs and the Education and Sponsorship Scheme, sponsored two students at Makerere University for a 3 months technical course
The two are Nakasendwa Madrine of Kitaka Village Nyendo Parish and Nakitto Sofia of Kako Village Samalia Parish, Nyendo-Mukugwe City Division, Masaka City.
They both graduated in Tailoring and Design, Entrepreneurship and Health Education skills under the Makerere University Department of Adult and Community Education and the Love Bint training program
Lubowa Ssebina Foundation sponsored Madrine and Sofia with all necessary scholastic requirements and facilities that enabled them to complete the skilling program from 2nd October to 20th December 2023 in accordance with Love Binti International standards.
The Executive Director Lubowa Ssebina Foundation, Rotarian Lubowa Ssebina Gyaviira Congratulated graduands and asked them to use the acquired skills from Makerere University Department of Adult and Education and Love bint program to transform more communities in Masaka City.
The exceptional graduands, Nakasendwa Madrine and Nakitto Sofia who were overjoyed to have fulfilled a lifelong dream thanked the sole sponsorship provided by the Lubowa Ssebina Foundation.
“Our achievements reflect the visionary guidance of Rotarian Lubowa Ssebina Gyaviira whose Lubowa Ssebina Foundation is envisioned on transforming and developing communities variously.” Madrine Nakasendwa said.
The two graduates Madrine and Sofia will train other students under the Lubowa Ssebina Foundation Skillng Program which is extending to several communities in Masaka City.
